Archive of Cartographic Heritage
The Archive of Cartographic Heritage, also known as the National Map Library, is located in Ano Poli of Thessaloniki (Tsinari area) and serves as Greece’s national institution for the preservation, archiving, and scientific study of maps and cartography.

Murad II Ottoman Fountain
The Turks had a special perception of water. It was a point of reference for them and was directly connected to their religion. Drinking water from the fountains symbolized forgiveness for the deceased in Ottoman belief.
You could find fountains in every neighborhood, and wherever there was a mosque, there was at least one fountain. Naturally, they also served as social meeting places, as they were gathering spots for the local residents.
